I can't tell you what tool to use. What I do know is what ever works and is easier to use tends to be the best tool most of the time. The finishing is a different matter. ~Enjoy!

Everyday I meet folks who have an issue with something. People that think that they should get more. Folks that want more but don't work or pay for it. Seriously... I work hard - I rarely complain and accept to much... No wonder I'm becoming so anti-social. A vacation is needed to change my views. ~ Enjoy.

I'm looking to be part of a game company. Visual development or some such thing... I'm not sure what this whole work life thing is about... I do know I don't much like it. There are other things that I want to do. Things I enjoy far more and could be the next big thing. I keep brewing my brew in the hopes the world love it as much as I do. Strange markets

I sit back and watch BNN. Strange events unfold as the world takes another turn. I see the house prices holding at an all time high. I see jobs stagnating as far as payment to employees go. I have no clue what the next move is. If your not winning the lottery, your battling the debits you will accumulate. Huge lack of influence for the little guy to get ahead. Everyone needs a place to live. Everyone needs food to eat. I suppose a major investment from government is needed in the near future to help folks out. Heck a few billionaires are starting to share the wealth with educational facilities. I wonder what I need to do to get a piece of that donation action. What could I do to make the world a better place? A question we could all ask to be rewarded. ~ Enjoy!

Too Much Work...

A couple of days ago a few colleagues called me a workaholic. In hind sight they are right. I try hard to learn the processes and get the tasks done. If I fail it is not due to my effort. It is due to my inability to grasp current norms. Of course I want to do more than just process a task. I want to master the tasks. Unfortunately not all systems have been documented. This leads to a serious issue with learning the systems. Without references in place, you can not turn to a single source. It seems that in it self is a form of job protection for the few who do know the missing pieces of the links. I suppose I'll have to wait and see how it all goes from here. Everyday is a challenging mystery. ~ Enjoy.

Royal Distaste or Hate...

I'm not sure why I feel a certain joy and pleasure from the idea of Scotland separating from England. I do know that I think the world needs a little more diversity. I'm personally tired of the Royal worship. Our over taxed countries serving the imaginary royal coffers dose nothing for the rest of us. Scotland should become independent with a singular currency of their own... Let the Brits eat the same rubbish they like to force upon us. Then we might see a little more balance in the entire world. In fact, a separation would create more jobs for the Scottish folks for at least the next 20 years. That would serve two generations well. That would allow for some evolution for the future. Following the Brits was what cause the economic crisis in Europe to begin with. As a Canadian, I blame the failures on the shoulders of the Royals if not the British parliament. ~ ENjoy!

A new focus and change of pace. Those are the kinds of things that wear you down. I need a bit more balance as I tackle the back to school routine. I almost think that the back to school life is harder than then the summers. ~ EN-joy!

Not dropping art

I was recently asked, "why don't you have more art on-line?" To answer the question i simply said... I have a big project in the works. It is a personal project that has lasted a little over 5 years. I'm hoping to make it publicly accessible. I just need to plug away until all the pieces are ready. I just don't know when that will be as I try to balance, work, play, life and the project. 14,000 +

When I started this blog many years ago, it was with the idea of practice literacy in the new digital age. It is not so new now. It has changed and evolved. I'm thankful for it in some ways. Though I have had over 14,000 visits since. I never thought I would have had so many folks take an interest in the writing, art and simply perspectives on life that I share on this blog. It has been really fun just to write,express and be a web/internet presence of a sort. If only we could translate those visits into an income or real social connection. Maybe the internet can still be improved, though this is a happy little thing I built with the blog host of course. I suppose other folks will come along to fill the space as I decide how or if I'll continue with the posts. For now it is just what it is. A chance to participate in the present and future of the world both real and digital. ~ Enjoy.

Locked in a tube....

Yesterday I was locked in a tube not once, not twice but three times. Then I was launched as fast as my body weight would take me down all 3 of Edmonton's most extreme water slides as found at the west Edmonton mall. All three has you locked in. All three have a count down. All three have have a floor that drops out from under your feet. Before you know what happens your blowing water out your nose, gasping for breath and you are at the bottom of the slide. AWESOME! There is a slide that makes you feel like your being flushed down a drain or toilet or what ever other comparable example you can think of. Very odd sensation swirling about just before you plunge into a pool 5 feet deep. Again AWESOME! It is expensive to get into the water park. $40+ tax per person as of this writing. Though you can not have the water park sensation any place else. There is even a float water slide similar to the a float down the Nile River, except your indoors on a tube and need not worry about gators or hippos. Just a casual fun tube slide. Over all, a must for a thrill seeker. 5 hours of stair climbing seams like much, but you have so much fun navigating the vertical maze of stairs you hardly notice the time go by. The fun is really a huge part of the fitness while hanging out here. I did so much over the last two days I can't share all in one post, though I wish you could all be here with me. WEST EDMONTON MALL IS A MUST GO TO SWIMMING SPOT. ~ Enjoy!

Russia scoops my blog

Lately a large number of visits have been from Russia. Well I do have a prediction for them. If you political clowns don't stop taking over property and shooting planes out of the sky, the western world is about to open up a can of Whoop @$$ on you. Already the markets are reflecting the actions westerners about to take. Communists population will suffer far more than the regime running the country. I just want to point out the obvious... Taliban assassination by a tactical team could happen again with president Vlad Putin. The world is not so large that you can hide forever, that has been proven now too. I suggest that you gather your resources folks on both sides of the pond. WW3 is just around the corner. This time it might be far more atomic. ~ Enjoy.

when I grow up...

Alright I might never really grow up, though this might be a fun toy to purchase if I ever get a real job.

I found this while searching the web and it had a pinterest tag to it. I couldn't even guess at the real source of the photo. Sure looks like fun though. I have to say I was much more partial to the Big Wheel at the time. I would go Big Wheel over the green of that was an option... Skidding around was the best on those things.

Dis-service to self...

I have found that you never do a service to yourself if you are not rewarded for your service to others. You need to be rewarded for your efforts. If your not then you need to refocus...I'm at that stage. I look forward to the next adventure.

When a TMNT retires

I could not get the image out of my head. The idea of a ninja turtle - retires from TMNT-ing. Then I remembered Peter Laird who sold the brand and everything to the I.P. (Intellectual Property). I figured that he has amazing rights still yet has not really done a thing... He has let other folks expand on the brand and enjoyed his life. I could chat about so much, but I'm no expert on I.P. or copy rights or anything of that sort. As a fan, I loved the series and books. So here is my idea of what one of the TMNT might look like after they hang up the bandana and tools of the ninja trade.

Gay in Sports....

I have to say that promoting a positive environment for a gay person in Sports or any public setting only destroys the Sheldon Kennedy efforts of Gay folks Raping and sexually assaulting children who participates in sports. Clearly the Gay friendly - Is putting the Straight at risk of Sexual assault or inappropriate exposure to uncomfortable situations. I disagree with Brian Burk, Dallas and many others who look to accommodate this small group, yet will not provide an option for the straight folks. If your going to extremes for one group, what are you going to do for other folks who enjoy being left alone in their straight views. I sure hope separate change rooms are going to be provided for those of us who simply don't want to be exposed to that. ~ Enjoy.

The Forge Failed me...

What can I say... seems all good things have to come to an end, again. Unless an update is offered it would seem I'll be spending more time and money back at the old game shop again. On a positive note, I managed to keep my self away from the place for a little over a month. Now it looks like I have to jump back in to get the social game back. I wonder if my points will grow or get effected with the sudden influx of my appearance. After all, I am just another ranked amateur.

Corruption... Nice to know its out there.

There is so much I could say... But can't. All I know is that I constantly walk that line and wait for the leaders of the world to shoot them selves in the foot. No matter what role they hold. If they are a leader, they encourage corruption to deflect the attention from their own activities to that of others. Yet the leaders tend to be the ones that earn the highest profits from their corrupt activities. That's why I tend to be very selfish in my actions. If I don't make a dime, don't expect me to play your silly little games.

Everyone should be more true to themselves and harness the power of greed and selfishness. The world might actually become a better place.

Twisted I know.  But some chaotic force deems that it makes sense. Think about it. You too might agree.

A funny little Face

I don't post enough art. Though from time to time an idea hits me that I just need to explore further. St.Patties day just past and I though that a bow tie that might evoke the idea of a shamrock would be interesting to play with.
Notice the long neck tie bound with the bow tie... I know interesting and nice touch. I almost wonder if a tie could be made to display this way without looking like a gift. Though I'm sure many a ladies would like the right guy gift wrapped for them.

Well Back to the idea farm I call the brain to laydown more ideas... Not sure what will crop up next. Maybe I'll start sharing more doodles this year too.

Updating Tech....

It has been a long time since I did any real updates on the hardware I use. Today I dove into some of the new gear out in the world and found it to be more pomp and less necessary... programmers are ruling the world and driving the need for new tech. I simply don't see any issue with the old infrastructure. The more simple the process the more immediate the result. Yet some groups decided that their way was more efficient. I just don't see the improvement. Humans can be much faster or better than a machine. Sooner or later both man and machine will break down and deteriorate.

I'm simply speechless.

If your hardware functions, it is likely the internet dragging your systems down. Maybe it is time to disconnect for some time and re-evaluate the real situation.

You heard right. People don't like weather change that is extreme as it can be... we are fine with cold weather so long as it stays cold. We are fine with warm weather so long as it stays warm.
