Adventureing NEWS

Over the last several weeks I've been putting together a collection of Flyer, newspaper type side quest ideas into single page publication for players to read while the GM/DM preps for the game session. Feedback has been great. Now I'll post the free works here. I hope to have several more completed in the future fr you to enjoy at no cost. If a book is made then a cost will be applied. Since these are just samples, you only get the final complete edition in a book now in progress.

Zombie Hat-Done!

It took 3 months to plan the sculpture and figure out how to attach it to the hat. Materials had to work and be pretty durable for display and wear. The final result, crazy hat day item created. Good for many occasions. Easter, All Hallows eve and even crazy hat day. I'm happy with the result. I know I can do so much more but it was suppose to be a fun thing, not overly scary. Suitable for many audiences and be allowed a work. A bleeding corpse head might be cool but pushing acceptable boundaries of work places. ~ Enjoy!

Thankful - Sort of.

Most of my life was not a choice. It was guided for sure, sometimes by force. Easter is one of those times where my faith reminds me that the life I have is largely held together by my life practice built around my faith. My faith is what has given me the life I have bound together in the most fragile way. Yet Roman Catholic is what I identify with most and adhere to with most of my conduct, most of the time. Easter is that time where I see being different makes me a threat, an icon and very different. Yet it is all I feel is true and that is enough to keep me balanced on my views of the truth. The real world is bound by deflecting litigation and transferring responsibility in any fashion. I tend to square off with it and take a joy ride until I get kicked off. I get kicked often "for my own good" as they say. Truth is, those that say it see me as the threat of moving in on their turf. If I gain to much traction then I take away all their credibility. credibility those others never really had as they build their life around lies and manipulation. Yet I continue on reminded that I too will rise again to yet another challenge. Thus is what is great about Easter. Even death can be over come if you work hard and aspire to greater things. Your not done until you say you're done. ~ Enjoy!

Employment - Ouch!

A retrospective.

In the last 10 years I have had 4 different jobs. in the last 20 years I've had 6 different jobs. My longest stretch was 7 years. Fortunately my frugal ways have left me in a position of okay financial holding. Yet I struggle to keep what I have earned. It's amazing to think that if your not of the crowd, you're the first one out. I'm not a coffee drinker, nor do I smoke, nor do I gather socially with co-workers often enough to care about their lives. So when layoff and cuts come by, I'm the first to go. I rarely greet managers as they are to busy to recognize my efforts. When I do, they look at me as if I should be working and they have no time for me. I don't do drugs so if your management team is on the take, getting a piece of the financial action from drug activities at work, I lose my job for calling the police. I often do that sort of thing. It is any wonder how you can build a healthy work place relationship with co-workers if everyone wants to wreck or corrupt you, blame you for things not of my doing. Not my gig.

People often ask me why I don't do (Insert action/activity or work Here). My reply is often the same - "If you want me to act like an adult, Employers need to pay me like one. I don't do what other people do because I don't have the tolerance to risk my financial well being on the nonsense everyone else partakes in. My view of the world is pretty lean, green and peaceful. I don't like all the regulation,rules,policies over the common person. I don't like the control all levels of government tries to place on me. So I don't participate in many of the things government tries to regulate. I do what I want, when I want and how I want. That is a prerogative of being an adult.

Truth be told, in the broadest sense of a statement I can offer; I don't want to be part of your world. You have to be part of mine. If you can't do that or be that, then I can't force you to. However, don't chastise me for my choice. A choice I make based on the limited opportunities employers and government force upon me. I survive as best I can with what I have. That is not much. If you know me, then you know that is true.

I would love to explore your world and learn more about it. Though you must know I'm very content with how I do things. If monetary rewards don't follow me than I can't be what you expect. I can only be me as I am, now and forever.

Getting to old for this Stuff!

Man am i looking old. I've done so much and still have more to do. I wish I had more time and cash to do it all, but it has been fun. Me with my boys hanging is a rare treat. Here are some photos I found. There are amazing places on this planet - you have to see them once in your life. If you don't mind heat then this is for you.
