Too Much Work...

A couple of days ago a few colleagues called me a workaholic. In hind sight they are right. I try hard to learn the processes and get the tasks done. If I fail it is not due to my effort. It is due to my inability to grasp current norms. Of course I want to do more than just process a task. I want to master the tasks. Unfortunately not all systems have been documented. This leads to a serious issue with learning the systems. Without references in place, you can not turn to a single source. It seems that in it self is a form of job protection for the few who do know the missing pieces of the links. I suppose I'll have to wait and see how it all goes from here.
