Death of Manufacturing...

It is official, the world of printing has destroyed a huge industrial sector. 3D printing now allows anyone to produce things that use to be done by hordes of people. Now, one person could produce any product imaginable, and in some cases design and print it pre-built.

This tech reduces the man power of most jobs down from 100 to about 3... A company owner, a designer/creator and a marketer... Maybe one extra person for the sick days... maybe... if automation is not in place.

Sorry folks... We are to smart and putting ourselves out of work.

Now we need to find new ways to make a living... Slavery seems to be a trend that might be coming back.
In a much larger view... Sweat equity might be the bigger item of value then capital... we all need to eat and a place to sleep... not sure what the trade off will be but it is certainly not a good thing to see so many people soon to be placed out of work.

Last night...

Yesterday I had to deal with a challenging situation... My perception and personal risk is always at the forefront of my choice. I had to deal with many people and 3 companies... Needless to say things did work out. However at the time I was feeling pretty threatened and uncertain about how things rolled out. I then started to look online for cartoons and humor to lift my spirits today.

As luck would have it I found one!

A Year of battles...

Yup the count down begins and All I can think f is all the battles I've endured just for the smallest advances... I can't wait to get to the next level of my life. I know what I wont be doing... Now I just need another person to see what I do bring to the table... Just to get in the door is hard enough... I've never disappointed.... I just need that big break, enough of these little piddly asses improvements... I really need to see a leap in the next year.

Baby it's cold outside!

Had to dig out 3 times... 3 times... 3 times... then saved my wife from being stranded by digging for 25 minutes in the -26 weather.
I have to say that was not my favorite moment this year... But I've been outside in -60 windchill so this was just another day of snow, cold and no go weather.
