I had the opportunity to work hard and very late and leave early and exhausted... If you have no more to give... You just have to quit before some one gets hurt. I will say it has been a true test of human strength and endurance.
In the end we have had the chance to bond a little and tease each other too. Needless to say I have noticed a real interesting character trait in folks who work late into the night. They all need a sense of humor. So in an effort to shake things up a little, we need to tease everyone just a little... I think t is an opportunity to be creative as well. We will see how it all goes.

sketch mess
Some time I put visual ideas to a page and think... Maybe there is something more here to explore. Well of course there is! Unfortunately no body is going to pay for it. Then I think... Perhaps it is worth sharing with the world just in case they want to offer some kind of opinion or purchase more of the same... I quickly discover this is false too!
Still I can't turn down the opportunity to share. I hope you find a glimmer of loveliness in this shell of a sketch page as I did.

Hairless Brush....
Today I discovered that one of my oldest and most favorite brushes was plucked clean bald.
Normally as a creative type I would have been up in arms. But this hair loss is common with old brushes... and men. I suspect my children played a role but I honestly can't point the finger there as I have done much to salvage this brush. I glued it, taped it, both tapped and glued and washed, and clean and loved the brush to the point where natural wear and tear was going to finally take its toll. 10 years later I simply found a new use for the nubby piece of wood. so I created a sketch with the damaged brush and admired the unique marks. . . . sad to be so committed to one single brush.... I can't explain it either. But here is the brush now and the sketch page I used it on.... I think I'm finally reaching closure on the brush. Time to spend another $40 for another... I need a real job. This stuff is far to expensive to continue doing.

In progress piece...
I can't tell you what this is for, other than joy. I know the concept came from an old comic book piece done by sam Kith or Simon Bisley... I don't remember who. I took the idea from memory and redesigned it to a more desert type character with the interesting mounts to boot.
I want to do more but wont... I just don't have time. It is quite large at 11x17 inches. It was great playing with the visual though... And as I suggested I would do ... here it is.
_ Enjoy. {;}

I promise to post...
I've needed to recover from a few duties of late. The wife wanted much done...Much, but not all was done. Work has had much demands... Much was done, much more needs to be done.
My children need more things done... I'm spent physically, but I did get an evening of ball hockey with my oldest to give the child perspective on life and encouraged my youngest to reattempt his homework to completion. Some times there is not enough of me to go around, But I did make it happen... Just not all in one day... Please give me a few day to fit it all in.
Now I need to do something for the rest of you. That is to post more paper work...art...doodles...sketches...
Please be patience with me. It will happen. I just need to recover from my real world responsibilities.

Noodle Doodle...
Crazy busy weekend.
I have been plugging away at a first aid course trying to determine if this is what I want to do for a potential future career again. I did fairly well. I'm thinking that perhaps that I could do a little more along those rescue lines after all.
Right now I have a wonderful purge of sketches to offer from the weekend as well.

Concept art....Post apocaliptical...Guanno
Just wanted to see what I might come up with if angels and demons switched roles in a post-apocalyptic setting... These are prelims. Need to put more thought into these. I like the way the angel is going...distorted anatomy lends to a hint of evil manipulation too... The demon more subtle ... need to think on that more, Demons being pure are a bit of a challenge to my mind. I need more, lightness.
