McCUAIG, Danny Royston William
April 11, 1971 - April 18, 2012
Danny McCuaig of Calgary passed away suddenly at his home, at the age of 41 years. Dan was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and grew up in Calgary. He attended Diefenbaker SHS, Crescent Heights SHS, and was part of the first graduating class of Rundle College. Throughout his youth, Danny participated in minor hockey and minor league lacrosse; even touring Australia with his lacrosse team when he was twelve. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed life to the fullest never turning down a challenge whether it was scuba diving, sky diving, or bungee jumping. He was a lifeguard with the City of Calgary for twenty years leaving a lot of time for his true love of flying. Danny will forever be in the hearts of his loving family - his mother Bea; father Dave; sister Brenda (Rocky) and nephew TJ Pengelly; and many other family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held at CALGARY CREMATORIUM CHAPEL, 3219 - 4 Street N.W., (within the valley of Queen's Park Cemetery) on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Please forward condolences through www.hffs.com . If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Danny's name to the Alberta Children's Hospital or the S.P.C.A.
